Nip+Fab Dragons Blood Fix Pads
Brilliant alternative to conventional toners
I use these pads instead of regular toner, and find that they are really good. Salicylic acid can be quite drying, though it's great for blemishes and pores, so the addition of hyaluronic acids means that skin isn't stripped and is instead left hydrated and plump. This is just a really nice product - if you leave it a five minutes or so after applying, before putting on serum and moisturiser, your face stays hydrated until the next use (I use once daily) but doesn't get shiny or greasy.

I love the dragons blood serum and Glycolic fix range from Nip + Fab, so decided to try these cleansing pads. However I've not used them much as I don't really know where to fit them in to my cleansing routine! They don't work as cleansing pads for me, as they leave a film/residue on the skin which doesn't feel truly clean. They are too small to use for removing makeup, and they are too oily to use as toning pads. I love the smell of them, and they do make my skin feel soft - but not as clean as I'd like. I just can't find a use for them!

I was excited to buy this as salicylic and hyaluronic acids are my two favourite skincare ingredients and I loved the idea of them being in my cleansing wipes. Unfortunately, the pads smell so bad I can't bear to use them - like a household cleaning product or cheap shower gel. It lingers on my face for hours until I can't bear it anymore and have to wash it off. Such a disappointment! The Rodial Dragons Blood range smells incredible, and is made by the same company, so I can't understand what went wrong here.
