not the colour on the front or side of the box I bought this because it said "copper" and on the side it indicted that mid-brown auburnish hair would turn out quite close to the colour on the box. It is bright but it is NOT copper or at all natural looking. came out more of a plum colour. took me a year to lift dark colour out of my hair to get to a copper look but now I am back to square one. Will NOT be buying this again. April 16, 2012
Ginger-Not I've been waiting for a natural-looking ginger shade to come out in the UK for years, so when I discovered that various companies had brought out several shades of ginger for this season (ginge must be in) I was really excited. I bought a bottle of bleach and stripped my brown hair to a pure blonde/white so that the new colour would take as well as possible. On the box, Garnier's Intense Copper is a lovely bright ginger which looks like the rich red tones would glow in sunlight. No such luck. My hair came out bright orange but looks incredibly fake - a lot less Lily Cole, a lot more Leeloo from the Fifth Element. There is nothing ginger or even copper about it, it's pure orange. I would market this as Tangerine or perhaps Washed-Out Cherry. It just looks like I've not bothered to refresh a red dye. I've washed it several times with colour-stripping shampoos (Head & Shoulders, Capasal) and seen the water turn bright red with the pigment, but my hair remains the same tacky bright orange. I wont be stopping any traffic with this look, but I might be preparing it to go. May 21, 2012
I love this product.... I have read the other reviews on this product and would like to say that I will certainly be using this product again as I've had great comments on it, it was easy to apply, gave a great vibrant colour result on my hair (previously coloured plum - it completely covered the old colour- but naturally mid brown) and appears to be lasting well so far :-) June 2, 2012
