Bourjois Paris Happy Light Matte Serum Primer 3.3 5 18 18
Good primer but highly scented This is a good primer. It's light in texture and does a good job of mattifying the skin. You only get 15mls, so it's quite expensive, but you don't need a lot, and it has a glass bottle with a good pump dispenser. The only thing I'm not keen on is the smell - it's quite highly scented, and smells like perfume. I'm not really a fan of scents in face products, but most Bourjois products seem to have some scent to them. It's still a good product, and I would recommend it, but not if you don't like fragrance in face products. October 5, 2013
Excellent Value for Money If you have been lusting after the Hourglass mineral veil primer that is raved about in the Beauty World, I would recommend giving this a try. I have the Hourglass and it is my favorite primer ever and is the only thing that keeps me shine free for 3 hours instead of 1 hour, and I have tested this primer against the hourglass one over the past week or so. There is barely any difference except of course that this one is much more affordable! Other differences are that the Hourglass has SPF in it and this doesn't. This one is perfumed & contains olive oil which may break some people out or cause issues for sensitive skin. Definitely a good dupe and may well become a staple in my collection. October 16, 2013
Really like this. I have tried numerous primers of varying quality and price and this has been one of the best ones I've used. You do only get a small amount, but you don't need a lot, especially if you don't need full coverage. It is perfumed, but the scent does fade very quickly once applied. The pump action is a good idea, but the nozzle does get clogged. It's easy to apply and I've certainly noticed a difference in my skin. I wouldn't use it to prime for eyeshadow and wouldn't recommend it if you need something more heavy duty. I did try the Luminous version, but I've found it tends to make me look too shiny!
